Carol Brady MBE

Former Chair of Chartered Trading Standards Institute, Carol is now Chair of the Claims Management Regulation Unit for the Ministry of Justice and Managing Director of her own consultancy business.

Carol was awarded an MBE in June 2016 in recognition of her services to consumers and better regulation.

She began her career with trading standards and has worked in the former Department for Trade and Industry, to set up the Consumer Direct helpline in the UK.

She is a Fellow of the Chartered Trading Standards Institute, an honour given to her by her peers in 2009 and recognises her contribution to the profession.
